Apollo Indraprastha
Indraprastha Medical Corporation Limited (IMCL) is a pioneering public-private partnership (PPP) initiative, established by the Government of the National Capital Territory of Delhi and the Apollo Hospitals Group, a leader in corporate healthcare in India founded by Dr. Prathap C. Reddy. Incorporated in 1988, IMCL was created to set up the renowned Indraprastha Apollo Hospitals, a multi-specialty tertiary care referral hospital located in Sarita Vihar, New Delhi.
The share capital of IMCL is distributed among the Government of NCT of Delhi (26%), Apollo Hospitals Group (25%), and the public (49%). As of April 1, 2024, the Board of Directors comprises 13 members, including one Executive Director and 12 Non-Executive Directors, of which eight are Independent Directors. The Managing Director oversees the day-to-day management and administration, subject to the Board’s superintendence, direction, and control.
